For the longest time, my laptop’s had this issue where it would constantly freeze up on any game, without fail, for about 1-5 seconds at a time. Today, I finally got irritated enough to research why it does that.
It’s apparently a feature of my laptop’s hard drive. It’s not documented at all. And the feature can only be disabled with an external program.
